6 Silver and 1 Seal of Approval for Lambouri Wines at the awc-vienna, the Vienna Int. Wine Challenge.
In 2008, Lambouri Winery continues its success at the internationally prestigious wine competitions. At the awc-vienna International Wine Challenge in Vienna, Austria, our wines were awarded 6 Silver medals and 1 third place ("Seal of Approval") .
The jury in Vienna, Austria, voted the 2006 vintage Lambouri Sweet Red the best wine of our submitted range and honored the wine with a silver medal (89.7 points).
The AWC Vienna is the most important international wine challenge in the German-speaking region and together with London, Bordeaux, Verona and Brussels represents one of the world's most important wine trophies. This year 5,118 wines out of 29 nations were tested.
At the third Cyprus Wine Competition in 2008 our Cabernet Merlot 2005 was awarded a Silver Medal.
