2 Silver and 6 Seal of Approval for Lambouri Wines at the awc-vienna, the Vienna Int. Wine Challenge.
In a repeat of last year's success, wines of the Lambouri range were honored with a total of 8 awards at the second largest international wine challenge "awc-vienna 2007": two Silver Medals and six Seal of Approval (third place) attest to the outstanding quality of our wines.
The jury in Vienna, Austria, voted the 2006 vintage Lambouri Dry Rosé the best wine of our submitted range and honored the wine with a silver medal (89.6 points). In addition our Lambouri Dry Red of the 2005 vintage, also received silver medal with 86.3 points.
The AWC Vienna is the most important international wine challenge in the German-speaking region and together with London, Bordeaux, Verona and Brussels represents one of the world's most important wine trophies. This year 5,118 wines out of 29 nations were tested.
